I am the owner of a small indoor cycling studio in Ridgway, CO. We have an awesome organization started here in our town called Axel Project. They are an organization that gets bikes to communities in need to get kids on bikes, they have teamed up with Strider. Their website is http://www.axelproject.com. I would like to host a benefit ride for the Axel Project. I am looking for both ideas for the ride. Also I was thinking it would be cool if we could get other studios in on it too. Something like we all host the ride on the same day (‘join riders in…x locations…to raise money for the Axel Project’). Can you help me with ideas and getting other studios in on this?
I am inquiring today to ask if we can somehow join this community and get some kind of article written about choosing and purchasing the right bikes for your studio. We can personally write the article ourselves if you can post it up online.
Just getting started this fall. Questions on size of room to start with 12-15 bikes? or size per bike? Just grabbing as much info as possible
Steve that would be a good question to ask at our owner’s facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/CyclingStudios
I find your site to be informative. I recently moved from New York to LA and have been here for about a year. I’ve taught cycling classes for almost 10 years in both commercial and corporate Fitness. I currently work on the paramount pictures studio lot teaching several different group x classes including spinning and its going well. The thought of opening my own studio has been on my mind for quite sometime. I’ve taking a class at 6 of the “so call hottest studios in LA and Flywheel was the most interesting because of the tourqboard that they use. Any help that you can offer to someone trying to get started would be greatly appreciated. Location Location Location is everything But what else?
I’m opening a boutique fitness studio in Chicago and one of the rooms will be a designated spin cycle room.
I’d like to lease 20 bikes but am having trouble locating a dealer. Would you have any recommendations?
Second, I’m into the trends and do a lot of research. What technology is out there and where do I find it to have riders all connected to one board so we can do competitions within the class or riders can see how they are doing.
I’m looking into other technology to provide a very individualized experience.
Also, any suggestions on how to purchase shoes for rental? How many. Is there an average size that you keep on hand? What brand do you recommend for renting purposes?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I joined your Facebook group but have not been approved.
My name is Nikita Weinstein, together with my partner we are starting an indoorcycle studio in the heart of Moscow city, Russia.
Now we are preparing to begin construction works.
The main issue is to train our future instructors so they can provide a high class training to our costumers.
Unfortunately, there are no specialized spinning instructor trainings here in Moscow.
My question is whether it is possible to make a special training and certification to our instructors here in Moscow?
All the travel, accommodation and other costs will be definitely covered.
Looking forward for your reply.
Is this company still operating? I don’t see any recent posts
We’ve transitioned most of this activity over to our Facebook group
